i think i started out with Slax than kubuntu then Damn Vulnerable Linux then Backtrack 3 ( which i love)

Never use Linux.
I just use windows 95, 98, ME and XP.

noooooooooo Linux is has been used for a lot of stuff like making movie (finding nemo, titanic) but mostly servers
but it is used for many things besides being an Apache Box

Yeah. you can do WAY more stuff with linux than with windows.. well one of the problems might be drivers but there is always a patch =]

i first used Fedora 6 then Suse then GParted then Backtrack then Damn Small Linux and know i'm downloading Ubuntu
