well, yes you can actually use it on almost any kind of computer , it boots up within the disk.  the only problem can be a screen adjustment you might have to make, but other than that it should run great!


Just Boot up to your Disk

Yeah but i had some problems in the beginning. The first time i cracked it i used wesside-ng (Beta3), 2.5 minutes. Then i did it the other way and got that to work too.

does anybody know how use backtrack with a laptop?
backtrack always respond with wlan is not a network interface (airodump and airmon script)

Hi, I have a question for those how use backtrack 3, and is that I an aser with broadcom card and it work, I can connect to internet, but when I the airodump in the PWR that it represent the signal power, all the wfi are in 0 none of them have more than 0, why is that? is because the broadcom card?

Hi guys, pretty new to this. I couldn’t get the V3 to work but managed to get V2 working, problem is, when I load the disc and run kismet, it says no wireless network card found. I'm I missing something or do I need to install then Linux driver, if so how would I do that.
Sorry for being a pain guys but been looking to know how to do this sort off thing for about a year now:)

Hi guys, i have one question, why i can not turn my card into monitor mode after
running kismet on both of two wireless adapters (wifi0;ath0)....
and ofcourse after command -ifconfig ath0(wifi0) up
My card is from MSI on Atheros chipset....(so it should working)
(i know that it is possible coz ive done it be4 one time, but now i can not and
i dont know why please help me someone if u know how to do this) sorry for my "beginner" english
